This is one of the most beautiful, spacious & attractive Buddha Temple, recently added to the list of temples and is a must visit in Sravasti, Daen Maha Mongkol International Meditation Centre, in Sravasti India, is one of the two centers (other in Thailand) established by Upasika Bongkot Sitthipol with the emphasis on education to cultivate virtues, great wisdom & kindness, giving rise to peace & true happiness in the world. For almost thirty years, the training in meditation & wisdom for the public & youth from Thailand & other countries is being provided free of charge by the centre. Thus, the centre has special characteristics and attraction. It is a very peaceful and highly conducive centre for education in great Dhamma wisdom to support oneself & world society. In the complex is displayed, a huge & attractive statue of Buddha. The centre has six big halls for meditation which can accommodate up to 3000, people each with the provision of solitary meditation in the huts along with large dining halls for devotees & visitors. Many people come here to understand life, abandon their bad habits and return to their home countries with delight and appreciation to spread the message of peace to their family, society & world. The centre also promotes various charitable activities along with a non-formal education project. These activities are taken care of by a group of about 200 women working as volunteers & representing various countries. The whole set-up promotes the concept of compassion along with the need to preserve the bio-diversity.

The Environment of temple is very good. In this temple situat a statute of Lord Gautam Buddha. It is situated near to bahraich to balrampur highway. The Prospect of temple is very gentle. The Environment of temple is very peaceful.

Very Calm & Peaceful environment, Surrounded By greenery. this Temple (Stupa) is managed by Thai Community, You cant take Mobile, Purse or any mettle object inside.

You can meditate here for few minutes, its a amazing experience.
