Cucumba Hair & Beauty Family Salon Calicut

It was a great experience in cucumba. All the staff were very well behaved. Main highlights are hygiene, affordable rate and good services by experienced professionals. The staff at the reception arranged everything with great precision is also worth a special mention. Parking facility is available. My hairstylist provided me with a service that fully addressed my doubts and concerns. Special thanks to that anonymous staff for providing the necessary tips too. I walked out of Cucumba with full of confidence. I suggest this to everyone. You will have a good experience.

Went for a hair spa and hair cut. They refused to do since my hair was dry. I asked for a solution for my dry hair they said its expensive. I kinda felt humiliated. I asked to give a hair spa they said it will take time so you can come som other day.
That was very unprofessional of them. None of them were interested in even talking. Very bad experience. Will never ever suggest anyone for this place .

Very worst experience. Yesterday, I went to get my hair cut done but my hair was chopped out double of the lenght morethan which I have said them. When the first cut of my hair partition was done I ask him why so much he said ,"no it is just normal length " then again when I saw its going more, I asked him don't do so .
Even the other customer who was having hair therapy informed the guy not to do so( after see what he is dong). Initially, i wanted to do layer . Mr.Vimal informed ," my hair will not look good in layer "due to which I asked him to do 'deep U Shaped' .
I lost my hair ended up with no shape .This is my personal experience of yesterday's.

Yes now the question is ,am i forced to sit there for the balance cut?? . No ,but I can't come out doing my half hair cut.
They gave me very huge discount of 400inr also informed me that due to your hair loss and said the person who done my hair was new staff . Is it my problem or was i wrong selecting cucumba. No answer for any question .
Think twice before taking services .

Really don't know to post or not to, anyway someone really want this maybe so posting. Below posted my both hairs.
On base of your reply , the hair what you shown and what was cut is totally different because when he shown my hair in the mirror , I specially said to cut just cut half what he have shown . But the same happen when he cut . This is what happened.

I am born and brought up in Mumbai and currently residing in Kozhikode. I have had wonderful haircuts in Mumbai and it’s difficult to impress me that easy. For close to an year I was searching for a decent haircut salon in calicut and after tons of online search, thanks to Instagram, I found cucumba with the exact kind of Layer/Feather cut as I needed. FYI, i have good wavy hair, lost some to Postpartum but I’m gaining my thick crown back and i love my hair.
I went there on Dec 17 with an appointment and i was received in for my hair-do just in time. My hairdresser understood my requirements, i had a hair wash and straight got in for my cut. First he did his job, followed my instructions, then I asked him to still go bold with the layers and he did..
and My Oh My, I am the happiest customer in the world. Trust me guys, I am more happy with this hair cut than I’ve had so many others in Mumbai.
The guy is a complete magician. Such a lovely haircut and I love my hair more now..
The only regret I have is that I did not ask for his name.

Quality service but waiting period is too much

Earlier it was too good in service. But nowadays it's too pathetic. Today I tried anti dandruff hair spa, staff was handling my hair too rough and without care, too careless girl and too bad service. Thinking of changing my option. One careless irritating staff is enough for degrading the reputation of a firm

I had a wonderful experience in this saloon. I went there for a hair cut and hair colour and it turned out perfectly just more than I expected. I personally have tried almost all the well-known brands here in Calicut but when it comes to a second visit, I couldn't consider many. I must say that the one who done the service for me, Mr. Vimal has done a wonderful job. He has done it with all the perfection even the time was running out of their normal. I am looking forward to visit your place again in the future and I am more than happy to recommend this place for everyone.
