Rajouri airport used to be a golf course used by the defense forces at one time. It had no boundry wall and could be seen from the road. Now it has been changed into an airstrip with a small runway, most probably for small aircrafts and a helipad in the vicinity. It's named after the army officer who reclaimed Rajouri town from the Pakistani forces.
