This is actually the British residency which sadly got converted into a educational institute for women! Now this building is up for restoration.

Hidden gems of Hyderabad and magnificent architecture.
Koti, meaning a mansion, is a huge mansion built in Palladian Georgian style. The building was at once the embassy of the East India Company to the court of the Nizam of Hyderabad, and the residence of James Kirkpatrick, the British Resident, as well as his successors. In 1949 it was converted into a women's college, Osmania University College for Women

5 stars for the greenery and calm ambience.
One can study peacefully in the lap of nature.
Old buildings with little history attached to it always fascinate me. This is one such beauty.

Used to be Women's College, Koti, when I studied here from 1988-1991 in BA - Psychology, Sociology, Classical Language Sanskrit. Have lovely memories of being here, especially the lecturers and staff of Psychology Department. Not only were the subjects made interesting by our professors, even spending time in the library and sitting in the durbar hall and picturesque gardens with classmates and friends was enjoyable.
