Fort is a must visit place in Vizianagaram. As they are very famous in developing education and other arts, we can still see it here. With atleast eight schools and colleges with one career guidence centre we can observe a good athmosphere for education here. With a big business centre is in front of the fort ànd a good park with lot of seating is there to the west of the fort.

It is temple of education, initiated by great king PVG Raju garu.Thousands (may be in lakhs) of people studied from Maharajah's schools within the fort. In those days he has given equal importance to girls education and started girls schools and colleges.
This fort looks great surrounded by huge boundaries (బురుజు). Lots of building were reconstructed recently and developing infrastructure to provide education equal to private schools.

Historical place i seen lot of no students in fort because the gov provided kg to pg education in this place, in under security guards are very respectful to ,the entrance of gate is made by wood it almost 20 feets door, MR COLLEGE (maha raja) is in the fort, the plantation is creative and clean
