There can not be a more empathetic doctor than Dr. Shivani. I have a Lab of 10 years and budgies too and I have been taking them only to her all these years as I can never experiment with vet. In fact, my dog refuses to enter any other vet clinic but to her he goes like it's a treat for him. That itself speaks volumes about her genuine fondness for animals. I have referred her to my friends and they too have only good experiences to relate.

She last week, on a Sunday, did a surgery for our conure with such precision and perfection, I am amazed.

Ever grateful to her for saving the life of our feathered baby.

Doctor was very helpful and quick to respond even if it was a long distance case. Trust me this place is worth a 5 star experience.

Being a Cardiologist myself I was appalled at the commercial noon clinical approach towards my African Grey.

Inspite of constant seizures no medications were started other than vitamins. She diagnosed some foreign object in the crop but decided against surgery.

I lost my baby inspite of telling her about the seizures and videos. Just kept for observations on her clinic and charged for it. No diagnostic acumen at all. I'm sure the other great reviews are all for trivial cases. She is inadept at handling difficult cases. Poor communication expect for payment of outstanding bills. Mostly out of town on attending conferences.

I was tempted to file a malpractice case and Sue but left it.

You are better off at a govt veterinary service.

Avoid at all costs. There are better vets out there.

I never leave a negative review but she deserved it.

I have been to many Vet Doctors in Mumbai, and Dr Shivani is the best in Mumbai.. There is no better Vet Dr in Mumbai than her. You just need to book an appointment and be on time, it's always good to call and book an appointment and then go as she is busy..
But her treatment for any animal, bird, or tortoise/turtle, or any exotic pets, she is hats down the best.. 🥰

the doctor refused to attend my collapsing pet at 7pm because it was her time to wrap up. neither was she responding to text messages for any remedies we could try to save him. not the behaviour/ professionalism you expect from a family doctor towards her regular patients. we spent the next couple of hours trying to find a doctor last minute since she was not reachable. we lost our pet at 930 last night. this is not a review to vent out frustration but about helplessness because the doctor you trust refuses to help in the hour of need.
please consult her if you are sure you wont need a doctor from 7pm to 10am.

Finest exotic vet in India. Top notch. Just trust her diagnosis and follow the instructions. As a human she's the kindest soul and humble and very caring.
I run a rabbit rescue in India and we have sent many parents for consultation since September 2021. We are more than satisfied. Plus she comes to our city for health camps providing the best international care.

Absolutely reliable, most humble caring & very responsive vet. Highly recommended. She is excellent at her skills. She tried everything possible to save my rabbit without even charging a penny. Extremely glad to vet such genuine gem vets in India. Dr Shivani Tandel have always given correct medication and treatment to my rabbit.
