Divine Cafe

For those who visit GOLDEN TEMPLE (Sri Narayani temple), near Vellore, Divine Cafe is a good choice for having reasonably good food. Actually we had a full lunch on 23.3.22. Reasonably good lunch, with chapathi and payasam @₹95. Dining hall is little congested but neatly maintained. Staff members are also neat and tidy. 5 or 6 cars could be parked in front of the hotel. When we asked for rest rooms, we were directed into the NARAYANI HOPITAL (which seems to be a charitable health centre. Lot of crowd suggested that it is a really affordable hospital.).We had to walk a long distance amidst waiting patients to find the bathroom and wait in queue !
I request the authorities to expand the dining hall size and to have a separate rest room for the hotel, exclusively. From here we proceeded to Thirupati. (On the highway you have another good hotel beyond KATPADI, viz, HOTEL ANUSUYA CLASSIC veg)

A fine restaurant outside Golden temple sripuram , we had various food and out of which Paneer tikka was the best 5* for that but the rest of then food were just fine
Soup 🍜 was bad 2*
Panner Noodles 4*
And we ordered a multigrain roti which supposed to be served with some special dal but we got veg kurma and it was looking like a wheat roti so 2*
And finally the milk shakes, chocolate 4* but badam milk shake was so disappointing 2* it didn’t even taste good.

Excellent Vegetarian Restaurant at the compound of Sri Narayani Hospital, Vellore.

📌 Type of meal available:
✔️Specialized in South Indian foods. During breakfast you can get Idli, Dosa, Pongal etc. But in Lunch time you have no option other than veg thalis.
✔️They serve north Indian foods too.
✔️There is an excellent fruit juice, fruit salad counter.

📌 Cleanliness and Ambience:
✔️Very clean restaurant
✔️ Ambience is awesome specially when you are at a super speciality hospital, it means a lot to patient parties.

📌 Service & Behaviour:
✔️Though there are a considerable numbers of staffs moving there and take the order without delay.
❌ Behaviour of the staffs need to be improved because they are not polite.

📌 Food Menu:
❌Interestingly I didn't find any menu card or board mentioning the price of different foods available there. Only the staffs can help you regarding menu options.
This need to be improved immediately.

📌 Price of the food:
✔️All the prices are quite reasonable and at par market.

🎯 Final tip:
You must try Special veg Thali which is really awesome.

Place is right next to Golden Temple. It has a big front, and in general parking on roads is also available easily.

There is ample seating area. We didn't have to wait at all. Food is very good. There are a lot of north indian and south Indian options, and both types of cuisine taste well.

There is no toilet within hotel premise, and people need to use restroom in hospital in the back, which may be quite a long walk

Must try the Mushroom Chilli... It's really delicious. Overall experience is good. But not reached up to the expected point. Need to improve your service much more while serving a table. The attendant was not giving any attention while serving. It should be improved. Food taste is good.

Good for patient, old aged, all types of People.

This cafe is quite good and ambience is also good.

I have visited this many times earlier during that response was good as well as service is good.

But during my last visit i was quit disappointed with the service as no body approaching for taking order.

Nevertheless quality is good.

There is another concern is that they don't have washrooms and they are asking us use near by hospital washrooms.

This will be bit annoying when you travel from far and looking for washrooms.

I wish they will improve in this prospect in coming days.

Gobi rice and Dosa must try. Crowded in weekends. Located close to Golden temple. One of the finest veg hotel in this locality. Service is good.. Rates are normal.
