Vasan Mami Mess

Yesterday I searched for veg hotel in Dharmapuri where I can have good meals for lunch, it showed many places, but I preferred homely place, then I opted to go to Vasan mani mess, located just opposite to collector office in Dharmapuri.
About the shop, there was no hifi looks but looked very homely, could easily accommodate 20 persons at time. I ordered for meals, with the plantain leaf spread, they gave me beetroot poriyal, one kootu , keerai kootu, appalam, rice without any additives, podi with ghee, sambhar, Kara kolambu, moar kolambu, rasam, moar, mango pickle. And above all the meals was unlimited. I tasted all the given items as it was my first visit to this mess, every thing was cooked so well as I felt having my lunch at my house. But even n house u ll not get a full meal like this, the taste was excellent. I had a very good meal, I was very much satisfied for having a homely meal. Then I came to the billing and asked them how much is for a meals, I was shocked to hear, it was only 80 rupees, but the meals u eat hear worths alot. Going and eating in other hotels will cost more and give trouble to your stomach because of the the additives and the way they cook. With eyes closing you can directly go to this mess to have pure vegetarian food in Dharmapuri. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Food taste good but one thing you want parcel your food means you will waiting so long time 45 min or 1 hour and very worst response

Customer hospitality is very poor. Not at all customer friendly.
He will ask money, even to smile to regular customers.

Lovely eatery tucked in bylane opposite to district collectorate. No hi fi lighting, minimal signage, but the food speaks for itself. Three types of chutnies, coconut milk,sambar are some ofthe accompaniments for Idli, dosa and Idiyappam. Excellent hospitality and hygene. Only thing missing is Cofee/tea.

Make a detour if you are near by.

Great place for vegitarian foodies and service wisely good..

One of the best eateries in Dharmapuri especially for bachelors who are staying nearby. The quality of the dishes happen almost like home made and I have been a regular here when I was staying in Dharmapuri as a bachelor. The items tasted delicious as well, almost all the items are a must try. Their service is a little sloppy and chaotic at times which needs improvement. Everything else is great and worth every penny.

Doesn't have a parking facility.

Good quality south indian style restaurent .
