Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B

Worst ever A2B I've ever visited. Didn't expect this from A2B. Ordered a pav bhaji and they have given chapathi's channa instead. I guess I'll start hating pav after eating here.

Near washroom it smells too bad. When you wash your hands from their wash basin, I'm pretty sure, you'll lose your appetit. It's ver clear that there is no hygiene.

Horrible Service. Every item is cold enough and couldn't get in time. Even staff are quarrels each other. Even a coffee takes 15 mins to serve. No proper maintenance of tables. Parking is available.

This Diwali we bought sweets from Namakkal A2B quality of sweets and taste very poor and worst than local bakery shop and price is costly. You feel to buy quality products from A2B. Sad thing they have used only vanaspati instead of ghee. we feel cheated. Hopefully they improve.

No one to ask what we need. Was waiting for more than 20 minutes. we went at 10:30 to have breakfast. One person came and said only 2 severs are available And they are saying only dosa is available. In a rude manner. Everytime i went to this restaurant anywhere. I am getting the same kind of service. Worst to the core. Never visit again.

Don't buy Pongal small cup Rs.75. not worth for money. otherwise other foods ok

While the A2B food might be OK the service leaves much to be desired. In our case lots of food items needed to be reminded multiple times before we could get it. Typically it should have taken less than usual but took longer than usual. Most of the food items were out of stock. You get a menu and then get another sub menu dictated, Which gets changed multiple times while ordering. The place lacked parking as well. It's away from the highway. So it's a detour for a person travelling. All in all it did not matter that the food was okayish. Most travelers were disappointed.

Visited en route road trip .
Can see the dip in their popularity over the past three years.
It was non AC .
The food and the variety are good, but the sitting sofas were in bad conditions with gaping holes.
The service was good.
Suggest the Management to bring their glory by focussing on all round issues and the feed backs.
They have an assigned parking space nearby.

Had Sambar rice, quantity was very less. Hardly a scoup full. Quality as usual the A2B taste. No complaints on it thou. Pricing is high for the quantity served. Rice papad was tasty.
