Swamys Cafe since 1969

Swamy's cafe is a small vegetarian restaurant located bang opposite to the ayyanthole civil station. The ambience isn't much to talk about but the hotel is tidy and well kept. The service is very fast and there is always a crowd here. Food is quite taasty especially masala dosa. Rates are a bit on the higher side given the size and ambience.

The food here is really good. I usually have Masaladosa and Uzhunnuvada. Both yummy. Not too costly too. There isn't much of an ambience to mention, but it's well maintained. The staff here is also really friendly.

I usually have breakfast from here weekly.

Would definitely suggest this restaurant for quick bites and breakfast.

Good vegetarian restaurant in a strstegic location suitable for all types of customers, as there is no star rating. Staff very servuce minded. Car parking is the only problem.

Hotel with a long history and famous in the area. Known for giving free food during hartals.

It's always abuzz with people and it a favourite of the lawyers and officers from the collectorate nearby.

They charge a slight premium over other vegetarian hotels of the same ambience but the place is really hygienic and the food is tasty.

Thier Uzhunnu vada with pudina chutney is a must try during tea time. Thier chana batura with salad is also an another delicacy to try which is surprisingly not mentioned on the menu and is only available after noon.

I love the food here. Especially the Masaladosa and Uzhunnuvada. It's really the best you can get in Thrissur. It's usually a bit crowded and if going alone, not much of an issue. Usually crowd from people visiting the Collectorate.

Good option for vegans. Situated very close to the civil station, the restaurant is quite busy always. Tried masala dosa and vada. Both were nice. Wash area is neat. Digital payment accepted. Satisfactory service provided.
