Edit: iam sorry for saying this: I doubt they r using msg ajinomoto kind stuff bcs u can feel the heavily taste of the food and forming of over a normal amount of mouth fliud which is not formed in homely food .but I like the owner and crew .msg is not that much harmful.so itmay not taken as serious

Visited this during kannur visit, as i was looking for any pure vegetarian hotel around and found this on the way.. they serve traditional style rice meal with two or three different vegetable curries, pickle etc on banana leaf.. pricing is on budget. Almost 50per meal. well behaved staff.

Lunch was good. Ambience not that great.

Excellent food.
Vegetarian paradise. Rice meals were amazing. Did not have a better meal in the last 10 days. Sambar was superb, the pickle was amazing, and the Rassam was to die for!!
It’s a small food joint, no air conditioning (you will forget about air conditioning the moment you have your first morsel)
A hidden gem

Vegetarian meals are served here with payasam. Meals consists of 2 varieties of curries and 3 side dishes and pappadam. Curd and rasam is also served. Cost for meal is 70Rs.

Pure vegetarian restaurant. Very good quality food for vegetarians. Must try.
