KAMAT CAFE

Kamat cafe is one of the oldest hotel in hubli market. Irrespective of time there are always people in it. There are two floors for service. You get normal tiffin service all the time like idli, dosa, poori and meals during lunch and dinner.
Usually they dont provide menu for people who come for light refreshments. They also serve gobi manchurian, noodles, samosa.
There is lot of comprise in taste and quality. Usually the food which has to be served hot is not hot at all. Taste is also not so great because they usually have customers who come over and eat whatever available. We tried idli, samosa and coffee, was vry pale.
Packed sweets available.
There is no parking for visitors, they have to arrange it for themselves.
Washrooms are ok but since it is mid of market everybody around(sellers or buyers) use the hotel washroom.

I took lunch and gobi. It taste was not good . Not maintaining the name of Kamat hotels. The lunch menu is not good at all. I advice to take breakfast menu.

Good locality. Good food but hygiene need to improve.

Its been there from decades at the heart of market. Good place for quick bite. Quality is has reduced in last few years

I tasted Pulav n Tea. It was good. Pulav was of diff taste with bit extra masala. Raitha was good.

Okay! Digital payments should be encouraged at every table to handle large crowds. Be careful with cash, especially when paying your bills.

My Personal Experience dont Come here very messy Kitchen they keep the broom near the flame very unhygenic and The Owner who Sit's in the Counter Is very Rude to poor people i went yesterday a poor man took a tea paid for it ibfront of le he started fighting with him because the man just asked for a tissue

Food is good usually very busy in afternoon
