I immediately remembered, "If I didn't come to Santiniketan and go to Visva-Bharati, what else did I do?"
Run Toto Visva-Bharati, I shouted.
Totovai Sumon played the role of guide. The journey started with seeing a 180 year old banyan tree. Then, one by one, Toto crossed the sixth floor, the synagogue, the building, and proceeded towards the museum.
I entered the museum after crossing the garden with the entrance fee of 60 rupees per person. There are many prizes, gifts, spectacles, painting tools and other items used by Ravi Tagore in his memory, genealogy of Thakurbari and personal correspondence.

It has huge historical importance. This could have been managed in a better systematic way for tourist. We drove from Kolkata and reached there by 10:15 am. However last 5 km within bolpur, google map was not efficient as it took me to very narrow road. Finally we took help of local Toto driver to reach safely. There was not enough marking and signage for car parking and tourist destination.
There was not good restaurant nearby nor drinking and washroom facility for common people nearby to Shantiniketan or Visva Bharati.
However people are gentle and nice. Overall environment pretty calm and quite with scenic beauty and serene divinity of green nature.

A Wonderful and Beautiful place with lots of memories of Kobi guru Rabindra Nath Tagor, great place for learning, and a best university in india 🇮🇳 ❤️

Superb location for the Literature and History lovers... And those who are coming for Acadamic purpose too.. Rest of the people plz stay away... Dont make this place noisy!!

Most of the People who comes here either doesn't know What is Santiniketan or never Interested in Knowing what it is!

Visva-Bharati is one of the greatest University in India...❤️

Visva Bharat University is only central University in West Bengal. It was founded by kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore. So many bhavana and departments are there. Many language departments are in literature bivagas are there. In Siksha Bhavana(Department of science and technology) there are almost all science subjects are taught. There is a central library for all students and also so many bhavana library and departmental library are there. Art, fine art are also available in Kala Bhavana. Sangit bhavana is also famous for various types of sangit and dance. There were two pre degree school, Patha Bhavana and Siksha Satra. Agriculture department is also very good in Visva Bharati. At last Visva Bharati University is greatest University in West Bengal..
