Biswa Bangla Biswabidyalay

The university has been set up under the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Now a new university has been established in each district of West Bengal. Visva-Bharati is still the only central university in West Bengal. Inspired by the ideals of the world poet Rabindranath Tagore the state government has built this Bishwa Bangla Vishwa Vidyalaya.This university is built on the outskirts of Bolpur city. On the opposite side of this university Geetabitan Theme City is being constructed.

I'm a student of this University. It is situated at the outskirts of Bolpur. The university is still under construction but the departments have been started. The onsight classes are taken at the Webel IT Park, which is right beside the premises. Right now there's no permanent faculty but soon they'll be appointed. The ambiance of the place is quite agreeable and peaceful.
