Infrastructure wise, this is not upto the mark. Calcutta University being the oldest University in India has its campuses at 7 different locations in Kolkata City. This Campus is dedicated to the Engineering and Technology stream. Its academic block has 4 floors. They are developing this Campus at a war footing.

Foundation of the University of Calcutta
The Court of Directors of the East India Company sent a despatch in July, 1854 to the Governor-General of India in Council, suggesting the establishment of the Universities of Calcutta, Madras and Bombay.

In pursuance of that despatch, the University of Calcutta was founded on JANUARY 24, 1857.

The University adopted in the first instance, the pattern of the University of London and gradually introduced modifications in its constitution

Excellent campus of CU. Great library. Superb infrastructure. The teachers are really helpful.

Clean campus in a peaceful location. CRNN research center is present inside. CSE, IT, Optics departments of B.tech are taught here.

Nice and clean campus with good infrastructure but lacks proper transport facilities.

1st year all subjects available here and after 1year complete available few subjects (cse,it, ooe) sealdah to technology no-239 jadavpur to amri hospital s9 or ac9

Spent the 1st year of my B.Tech course here. The campus is present in a very calm environment, perfect for studies. Had a lot of fun here.
