Alipurduar University

This is a very beautiful university. Newly established. The first Vice-Chancellor of Alipurduar University, Prof. (Dr.) Mahendra Nath Roy is a very hard working person. He is the heart of this university. He nurtured the university very beautifully.

Very Good Institute/university it is. This university provides us many facilities or curriculum .This university is also situated in a very beautiful place .

Earlier the building was Alipurduar college since late sixties.All the assets,hostels,movable and immovable properties,professors,staff etc belonged to Alipurduar college.The college was under North Bengal University.All on a sudden including all previous track records of weal and woe,the cover page has been changed and christened as "Alipurduar University".

Alipurduar College (now known as 'Alipurduar University'), a co-education college established in 1957 with financial assistance from the Government of India, it got the initial recognition as a Government Sponsored College affiliated to the University of North Bengal under the Refugee Rehabilitation and Development Programme of the Union Government and in due course of time, came under the 2F and 12B category of the University Grants Commission.

All the departments are well maintained and have a very clean atmosphere.

It's a good place but University are very small.

This is situated behind the most famous place in alipurduar which is Parade Ground. This place have enough access of transportation facilities, NBSTC bus stand is like 10 munites away. Greenary is very peaceful here. Overall this place is best for studying.
