Qualified teachers and there is a long period of internship(1 week in 1st sem 2 week in 2nd and whole 3rd sem) in which pupil-teacher completely learn how to teach and assess the students. Every year more than 20 students become selected in different schools and colleges of country.

Faculty of Education came into existence in 1918 as Teacher's Training College and then shifted to Kamachha Complex as Faculty of the Banaras Hindu University. Since then the Faculty is trying its best to produce teachers embodied with cultural traditions of our society and also modern enough to keep pace with changing times. The Faculty is situated in Kamachha Complex of Banaras Hindu University in between Varanasi Railway Station and main Campus with equal distance.
The Faculty of Education has been fulfilling the cherished dream of the founder of the University who attached great importance to teacher education. It has done appreciable service to the cause of education and nation-building by producing eminent educationists, like Late Dr. K.L. Shrimali, an eminent diplomat and Ex-Education Minister of India, Shri Haribansh Rai Bachchan, a renowned poet, and many others. It also runs a B.Ed. (Special) degree programme for training teachers for handicapped children. The thrust areas of the ongoing research projects of the Faculty are Value-oriented Education, Computer Assisted Instruction, Special Education, Distance Education, Educational Technology, Educational Guidance, and Science Education. The Faculty organises seminars and workshops quite regularly and has a number of prestigious publications.
Its faculty members visit abroad and some of them have been nominated by the Central and the Provincial Governments to the important Committees and boards. The products of the Faculty have been recognised as excellent achievers by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalays, Higher Education Commissions of various provinces, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Because of its superior accreditation, many foreign academics come to this Faculty for pursuing their research. The Faculty proposes to introduce some more special courses in near future.

It's an oldest Teacher Training Institute of India situated in Varanasi city of India. now named as Faculty of Education under Banaras Hindu University(BHU). This campus also has a big Auditorium named Chanakya auditorium having seat capacity of 700 + people. It is situated in Kamachha area of Varanasi near by Central Hindu Boys School (a renowned School of Banaras Hindu University). Best place for teacher training courses. Well connected place to railway station of Varanasi/Banaras and Varanasi Roadways Bus Stop. Frequent public transport services like auto, tampo, e-rickshow etc. are available to this place.

It is the Education faculty of BHU. Some may have confusion that it is an affiliated college of BHU as it isn't situated in BHU campus. But in fact it the main faculty of BHU and it is also the origin place of BHU. Though it is little difficult to find it, but in reality it is on main road. As it is faculty of BHU, Its infrastructure is as good as of BHU. Nice and calm place with some greenery. Easily accessible. Anyone can reach here just using an auto from Cantt Station Varanasi. It is an educational institutions but anyway can find a tobacco or wine shop near it. So, you Drunk people get away of this place.
