The scholars of Jamia Nizamia researched and published around 1000 books including rare Arabic Manuscripts which are the essential books for Islamic knowledge. The project was mainly accomplished under the auspices of another research institute known as the Dairatul Ma'arif an-Nizamiyyah or Dairat al- Ma'arif al-Uthmaniyyah.

Jamia Nizamia is the premier Islamic University in Hyderabad and all of South India, founded by the renowned scholar and Sufi master: Shaykh ul Islam Imam Muhammad Anwarullah Farooqi, awarded the title "Fadhilat Jung" by the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan, Asif Jah the VIIth, their courses of study range from memorisation of the Qur'an, learning how to give the call to prayer, how to lead prayers, conduct marriages in an Islamic way, all the way to their flagship 'Alimiyyah program which goes from the foundation all the way up to an MA in Islamic studies and Arabic(beyond which there is a PhD department as well) the curriculum from "Awwal" all the way to "Kamil" is 17 years long, but for students of knowledge who have studied the foundation elsewhere, the doors are open here to join at the upper levels ie. The level of Molvi and higher.
The syllabus is robust and gives a well grounded understanding in all the Islamic and intellectual sciences, translation, Urdu and English.
