Department of Geology, Faculty Of Earth Science

Department of Geology and Earth science is the one of the oldest and most renowned department in Rajasthan of Mohan lal Sukhadia University. Course offered are B.sc,
M.sc, M.Sc (tech) in Applied geology. This department also offers courses in Earth science. Gelogist from this department discovered many new deposit and also honoured by National Mineral Award.

One of the oldest department, 65 years old. Now with new faculty offering M Sc, M Sc Tech and research in the field of Advanced Geology. Building is huge but there is lack of maintenance.

Nice place to learn something about various geographical topics like geomorphology, climatology, palentology, oceanography and many more. Hass a museum with many types of rocks, fossils, meteorites. Has large auditorium and trained teachers and staff.

A very good department in Rajasthan for the geology subject with all basic facilities like hand sample, microscope, field work, all the field tools, etc.
And this department is one of the best isolated department in MLSU campus
