Sambalpur University

It is located 16km from Sambalpur Junction and 3/4km from Hirakud Station. One of the Oldest and well Known University of Odisha. It covers Almost 70% of Graduate and Post Graduate College under it. Infrastructure should be improve to maintain it's glory. Transportation facilities is very less, one has to take Auto Rickshaw which is not Worthy., Bus services is very less.

All students are coming to receive more knowledge (pg. PhD) in the campus a big library, everyday students are coming to study in the library, the library opens 8AM to 8PM but only Sunday and Saturday (2nd and 4th) will be closed

I'm studied 10 months the surroundings of this university campus is much more quite. calm. pleasure place, if you planning morning walk then you can see the campus is too much Peaceful
