Indian Council of Social Science Research

Indian Council of Social Science Research Is the apex Social Science Research body of the country. Established in 1969, this body was setup by Government of India. Regardless to say, it is funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Goverment of India.
The campus is quite spacious and green. Ample space for parking vehicles too.

Conceived on the recommendation of Professor V.K.R.V. Rao and established under the aegis of Indira Gandhi, the ICSSR is an autonomous institute established to foster and promote the growth of Social Sciences in India.

Driver died due to nonpayment of salary from last 8 months in CRRID Chandigarh because ICSSR is not releasing funds.
shame on the ICSSR and CRRID management, those are waiting for every employee to die.

This ICSSR building is located on the Aruna Asif Ali road, next to the IIMC building. The nearest metro station is Munirka on Mazenta line from where one can reach by Auto (charging 50-70 rupess). One has to change from Hauzkhas to Mazenta line.
