I attended an International Conference back in 2014. I felt that the university lacked funding form the State Government as to the present infrastructure isn't adequate and lacks quality. When I compare this iconic university (as it used to be back in the days) to my alma (IITG) , there is so much difference.

Very friendly and dedicated faculty and staff. No hassle for any matter provided yo approach the right individual , but of late it has created a few controversies to hit the headlines.

Cotton college amidst the busy guwahati city has various disciplines of professional education. It also hosts the campus of IIIT within its borders .
