This is the location where the classes of MA correspondence courses under Burdwan University takes place. Almost 2 kms from the Burdwan Railway station. Good connectivity, but the minibuses cause traffic jams intentionally on the route. A beautiful location though.

This comes under the University of Burdwan. I have attended many sessions here organised by the UIT Burdwan. This is a beautiful auditorium with 100+ sitting capacity. The place is fully air conditioned. This auditorium is dedicated to Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. Maintenance of the place is excellent. Best place under the University to conduct seminars, induction programme, and others.
