Tuticorin Boating Point

It is on the beach road.
Its a wonderful place with salt panes, mangrove forest and a lake surrounding it.
There were Boating from here earlier, which takes the passengers in the lake through mangrove forests.
Now the boating has stopped and the area is getting developed with a building and benches to sit.

Could have been introduced additional games...some of the kayaking areas are very shallow and kayak gets stranded...proper reception area is not there... tickets issuing person is standing near kayak... people searching him often...

Kayaking is very good experience. Water height is very low so very safety for family kayaking experience. Kids and families sure enjoyable place. Half an hour 100 RS charged.

kayaking was a great experience though it could be a little cheaper. The prices now are
100rs for 1 seater 30 mins
250rs for 2 seater 30 mins.. it's open from 7am to 7pm

This is backwater seashore boating point. Fine place for time pass. Boating opens at 7.00am to 9.00am only.
