Don't book through online methods, they will not refund the 2% I paid for locking the conversion rate. Go directly to the branch and do the transaction, this branch is good in processing forex

Worst service! We called the Velachery branch if money exchange was possible today, they asked us to come in person and mentioned it's 2 min work. When we reached the branch in the next 40 min they said currency is not available..
It's a waste of time and energy for us, they should have informed us before when we called. No proper service.

Very poorly staffed with zero knowledge about any of the travel related requirements. Waste of time.

The rates are a bit high compared to other vendors. But they had enough currency in hand for immediate disposal without any waiting time. Went directly for Malaysian ringgit and Thai baht. Got it within 30 mins. The broker rate was a fixed 300₹ for conversion.

Very quick and reliable place to exchange money. They have a friendly team and great service.

We had planned Assam Shillong tour in the last week of Dec for 5 days. I would say it was BIG DISAPPOINTMENT go mg through Thomas Cook for customized package tour. The information provided as part of tour had no time mentioned if it is worth to travel 5 cities in less than 6 days. Thomas cook agent Praveen did not provide insights about practical commuting time between multiple cities as day planned. They should be aware what is open or close in the list of sight seeing like govt Boat service was not available to Umanand temple or Kamakhya temple May take long hours than planned in day wise plan. Also price charged was expensive and expected better and effective communication. The driver provided locally had no idea or lazy to share information locally places. Hotel check in was at 2 pm and no point to reach hotel at 10 am. That’s simple common sense information was not shared.

Thomas Cook did not even bother to check or call to see how was our journey or feedback.

Overall it was not good experience and I would NOT RECOMMEND Thomas Cook for any tours
