Gita Dwar Pipli is just entarence to Kurukshetra The Holy City🙂 Kurukshetra is famous because of Mahabharata took place on it. It is a very peaceful city. Main attractions are Bhramsarovar(Asia's largest pond), Bhadarkali Shaktipeeth, Sheikh chehli's tomb, Mahakaleshwar Temple ,Jyotisar and so on.

Very good looking, really extraordinary look history of our India is properly described satyug is described in kalyug, very awesome entrance to kurukshetra, gives feeling and connect human to that time, soil of kurukshetra is still red in fields, this is the place where Mahabharata was fought in satyug, but this place is crowdy not properly maintained by government and local people, gate is situated on delhi Chandigarh highway, due to lot of croud people littering everywhere.

This gate is located in kurukhestra, haryana.
This is a beautiful city with good cleanness throughout the city.
This is one of the best cities I have ever visited.
Old buildings , roads and yes the vast history of Mahabharata.
This city says it all by its aura and environment.
From the railway station to its ponds , its culture reflects in all things.
And this door is the beginning of all of these.

It is a gate to enter the main city of Kurukshetra. As expected it is a crowded place as its an intersection of multiple main route roads. It basically comes under Pipli region. It is the stop if you want to get buses going "towards" Ambala Cantt. and if you want to get to bus coming "from" Ambala Cantt, you will need to cross the road and head towards Pipli bus stand that is just close by.

As asked by some people about the Volvo Buses, they generally tend to go through the bridge not addressing the people right at the Gita Dwar, so you might need to get to the Start or End of the bridge to get into the Volvo Buses. However, other private and government buses do stop at this point.

This Dwar(Gate) is used to enter in Kurukshetra. You can get bus or auto from this place to Kurukshetra. But main problem is that it's high traffic zone.

This is a structure made on road. This has chariot of Karan and lord Krishan on the top, which is in act of fight of Mahabharata. This road interconnects kurukshetra to Yamuna Nagar and Chandigarh to Delhi. In night it is peaceful otherwise its busy road, vehicles go every day from here. Besides this, you can get buses for Chandigarh, Yamuna Nagar, Delhi etc. Auto service is also available here.
