The worst customer service I have experienced in my life. This company stranded me and my elderly parents on vacation, I had to buy new tickets to get home, and it’s been over a month and I haven’t been reimbursed nor has this company followed through on a single promise and called me back to settle the dispute when they said they would. I’m abhorred by the poor behavior, but I’m most disappointed with the company’s systematic lying, laziness, and failure to follow through. Every single person there that I have spoken to has broken their promises repeatedly. There are better ways to travel in India and I suggest avoiding MakeMyTrip at all costs.

Not 1 or 2 but a few bad experiences.

1) During our honeymoon to Australia, a package of around 7 Lacs was made, certain activities were clasing on the same time and when we told them about it, they cancelled the activity instead of re-scheduling it and no refund was given. Ms. Raymon stopped picking our calls after that point onwards.

2) Again, trip to Australia, couple of taxi rides scheduled via vouchers in the package did not arrive, when we called the local cab company they said they do not have any booking with the voucher number. We had to book cabs from the hotel that costed us around Rs. 3500/- each. Again, no refund or any other assistance was given from MMT.

3) Booked Welcome Jodhpur. Paid full charges via Credit Card. After which we were told that Rs. 8000 per person with additional GST (Rs. 16000 + GST) will have to be paid in addition. Which is basically the cost of the room. For a gala dinner which is mandatory, even if we do not attend or have other plans.

Chats and calls to MMT went unresolved. They kept saying the same thing, no matter who I spoke to. Booking could not be cancelly. The dinner gala was not made optional for me but mandatory. If something HAS to be paid, it should have been the part of the room rent itself.

We think the experience will be better next time. But Make My Trip manages to screw up your holiday in some small way.

I had booked my flights to Del-Dubai RETURN from 12th april 2020 - 20th April 2020 AIR INDIA through makemytrip.com in February, before the covid-19 outbreak in India & Dubai.
As they had messaged us saying how airlines have stopped providing refunds to the passengers for the flights booked till 15th april due to covid, I went onto the makemytrip app to see they are still providing SOME refund of the amount soI thought of opting the same option and cancelled my flight on 31st Mar 2020. It's been 20 days and there has been no response from their end. Their customercare service is unserviceable and the helpline on app doesnt give the exact information. Looks like they are not planning to refund the money.

Do not use as the service quality has worsened. There is no support in case you face any problem with your domestic flight bookings. You have to keep talking to their chatbot which is not helpful.

Never going to book visas with them henceforth. Their customer service doesn’t exist. No kidding - no way to reach them and they tell you so when you call them. It has been the most helpless I have ever been.

Make My Trip- Recently for some clarifications regarding modification of already booked tickets through make my trip, I had dealt with the customer care of the head office-Delhi. It was a sincere client service levels they maintained during every call, they were polite, detailing approach was good, customer orientation levels were slso good and very patiently responded to the details asked for . They were able to resolve the needs in a pleasant way as well. Appreciations to the customer care department.

I had booked hotel stay for my family vacation from 26th December 2021 to 1st January 2022 in various places from Nashik to Indore and finally Pachmarhi. While in Nashik, we came to know that one of our friends have been hospitalized in Mumbai. Hence we decided to cancel our trip and come back Mumbai to stand beside our friend and his family. I cancelled Pachmarhi booking followed by Indore. Received full refund for Pachmarhi but zero refund for indore cancellation as it was non refundable booking and I was unaware about it. I called up customer care and spoke to someone named Mr. Ashutosh and elaborated the situation. He assured me to try for refund as I am their long time client. But until now I have not received any phone calls from MakeMyTrip instead have three emails from Mr. Ashutosh stating my number is not getting connected hence ticket will be closed.
