I book a 23 days trip, included hotels, airline tickets (3) and train tickets.
I pay them almost one thousand pounds, which was not reflected on the type of hotels they booked for me, I have lots of problems at most of the hotels, which they under protest pay to other hotels I choose, despite of that problems persisted, in one occasion I have to call the police because they refused to refund the money or to change the room I got which was below of a very noisy room, I spend an entire night seating down in the lobby of that hotel until 8am when a policeman come and took me to the police station to made the formal report, it was this manager who was very rude to me, shouting to me, disrespect me all the way who deny a refund or to do anything I asked. Then a senior manager come to the police station and he agreed to give a refund. Then I went to other hotel. That's was in Ahmedabad.
This tourist agency luck of professionalism to treat customers not taken care if you are old or young, I am an old men and deserved a good treatment and respect.
This agency make lots of changes during my trip but under protest, on my last days in Delhi they book a horrible hotel in Carol Bag were the manager was very very rude, the room was awful, I left that hotel immediately to find one near by at about 1 am then it was hard to this agency to pay to that hotel despite of asking for payment few times.
I don't recommend this Incredible India Travel Bureau to no one, if you go business with them is under your own risk.
I don't think that all the trip they sell to me cost the amount I paid, much much cheaper.
They offered a 20 days itinerary including trains and hotels that started with a night in one of the worst hotels in Delhi. Dirty sheets, cold room, shower not working, and electrical cables hanging everywhere - something worth less than 100 rupees.
On top they didn’t provide any receipt or copy of the contract, no address of the company, making me realize the fraud.
I had to threaten them to call the police in order to get a 90% refund.
Obviously they know their “business”, at the end they are providing the service, but below any decent standard.
I would highly recommend to stay far away from them.
We only needed assistance with booking trains - something others will do for 10 percent of the ticket price. And they weren't honest at all about the fact how difficult it is to use Indian railways in North India during cold months!! It's very normal for trains to be cancelled or delayed for hours and hours. So you're much better off with booking flights for long journeys. Also they didn't explain to us that we can actually buy cheap tourist quota tickets ourselfs at each bigger train station, although we made it clear that this is the only thing we struggle with.
So if you're reading this a bit too late - important message is that if you insist and threaten them with calling the police (which according local people provides a good service nowadays), they will refund you for unused services. I think we got about 90 percent back.
If i can give this place 0 stars i would. They are scam artists posing as an official foreign tourist bureau for the indian railway IRCTC. They charged me way too much, double the price for train tickets. They lied and said they are the official foreign tourist department for the IRCTC which is a blatant lie. Dont believe the logos and stickers on their door. These sick people abuse and take advantage of foreign tourist. After i found out how much of a rip off i got, i went back and got a full refund. Call the police and call your embassy/tourist department if you have to. When i confronted the guy, he had the nerve to say “you make enough” as if my money grows on trees.
Please avoid at all costs.
