The junction is good with 4 platforms and enough amount of stalls from where u can buy snacks... It's Okaish.

Cleanliness is average....There are quiet a few shops on platform....Easier to access....A lot hotels nearby and that too very clean....Serves average food (not too tasty)....There is paid washrooms available...Police are also there no need to worry...They do support...

Purnea Junction railway station (station code:- PRNA), is the railway station serving the city of Purnea in the Purnea district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is a A category railway station of Katihar railway division in Northeast Frontier Railway. Purnea Junction was opened on 1887 and the previous name of this station was Purnea City. This is situated on Katihar–Jogbani line of North East Frontier Railway (NFR). This railway line earlier was metre gauge. Another standard-gauge line of East Central Railway (ECR) connects Purnea with Saharsa Junction via Banmankhi. Conversion of the 36 km-long Purnea–Banmankhi stretch in Purnea–Saharsa section to broad gauge project is completed in 2016. There are daily and weekly trains to Sealdah, Malda Town, Delhi, Patna Junction, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur Junction, Gorakhpur, Lucknow Charbagh and other neighboring cities. There are many passenger trains available to Katihar, Saharsa Junction and Jogbani.

Located outside the town but transport is readily available ,so reaching there will not be a problem. Sliding Ramps, lifts are also there so physically handicapped people will not face any problem.
