Armoor Bus Stand

Visited this bus stand very often between 1985 & 1988 and then occasionally on the way to Nirmal & Kuntala waterfalls annually...
Not a very large bus stand, bit quite an important and fairly busy one as it is on the old NH 7 on the Hyderabad - Nagpur highway ( part of the Kanyakumari - Varanasi highway)
It used to be located directly below the Siddulagutta hilltop temple till 1985 - 86. But it was shifted to its present location closer to the highway thereafter.
It is the second largest town in Nizamabad district and as such buses towards several destinations in Telangana & a few in Maharashtra originate from here.
There are tea stalls & stalls selling snacks like dosa, idli, vada etc.

Proper maintenance and a proper Platform for Hyderabad service will make it a better place.

You get all route buses but Need to improve... not well maintained...more space needed...very crowded..

It's a 4*/5* before but not now.
Buses have considerably been reduced to go to Hyderabad and from Hyderabad to way back to Armoor. Not only from/to Hyderabad but also for entire Nizamabad District (in which Armoor City is located). I don't know the reason behind this. Bus stand has toilets which are full of bad smell. But yeah facility is there ..just there. You can buy wide variety of foods and snacks including some Tea/Coffee and cold drinks. The place is ALWAYS over-crowded. 100 people waiting for bus every minute. You can't grab any seat if you're not street-smart. Or you can pre-book the buses like really expensive ones like Garuda, Rajadhaani, Super Luxury, etc. You can also buy some newspapers & Magazines. Auto-stand or tuk-tuk is available just outside the entrance/exit of this place. Almost everywhere you can travel throughout the state from this Armoor Bus Stand alone.

There are no more busse from jbs to Armoor as well as Armoor to Hyderabad bus stand should be improve more by comparing to other districts bus stand and neatness should be maintained in surroundings .And provide more busses to city's

Entrance & Exit Roads are very dangerous, needs to develop more, No proper Super Luxury Deluxe Buses to Hyderabad from ARMOOR Bust Stop
