Government managed. Public convenience needs much improvement. Private vehicles are entering in bus stand without any hindrance. Bus timing LED is good initiatives. Public queries center needs to be made functional currently it is defunct.

The charming city of Hoshiarpur in Punjab is adorned with the archaeological relics that are all that are left over from its storied history. The city's vivid culture, which is dominated by its spirit, is largely attributable to the city's historical history, which fuses with its old customs. You begin to develop a fondness for the tranquil town as you make your way through its centuries-old temples and claustrophobic alleyways. In addition to the rich historical past it possesses, the city exudes a welcoming warmth thanks to the affability of its inhabitants. Because of its location between the rivers Vyas and Sutlej and its proximity to the Shivalik Hills, the city of Hoshiarpur has been showered with an abundance of natural blessings. Hoshiarpur is one of those destinations that manages to captivate every traveller because to its one-of-a-kind appeal, which manages to combine elements of both the familiar and the novel.

It is impossible to deny Hoshiarpur's allure as a gorgeous destination given its location on the Himachal Pradesh border and in close proximity to the Shivalik Hill Ranges. Hoshiarpur is well-known not just for its scenic attractiveness, but also for the historical significance it possesses. Sheesh Mahal, located in Hoshiarpur, is often considered to be the most important building in the city. It is a palace that is totally constructed out of glass, as the name suggests, and it contains a number of amazing sculptures. In addition to that, the Archaeological Museum and the Bajwara Fort are both very important historical sites. Hoshiarpur is the location of several significant religious shrines and places of worship for the local population. In addition, it is recommended that you check out the Tomb of Shah Nur Jamal, Dera Santgarh, and the many other Sikh landmarks.

In Hoshiarpur, one will not lack for options when it comes to going shopping. The Sheesh Mahal Bazaar is a bustling marketplace that many people visit. You can go shopping for the vibrant scarves known as pulkaris, which come in a variety of colours. This location also sells traditional wooden handicrafts and a variety of ethnically inspired replica jewellery types. Lassi, a sweet drink made from a mixture of milk and other ingredients, is a traditional Punjabi beverage that you must try at least once.

Traveling around the city of Hoshiarpur is made simple and uncomplicated by the abundance of different transit options and amenities that are accessible. Minibuses that are managed by the state are a convenient way to travel within the city as well as to the suburbs that are located in close proximity to the metropolis. It is possible to hail cycle-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws directly from the streets. Taxis offer a more relaxed mode of transportation across the city, albeit at a cost that is noticeably higher than other options. Because rickshaws and taxis do not use a system that sets a standard cost, it is essential to haggle over the price of the ride in advance. If you rent a private vehicle, you will be able to move at your own pace and in complete comfort throughout your journey.

Busstand of Hoshiarpur needs more improvements and developments for Daliy travelers.

Space is very large.
Private as well as govt buses are in the row.
Parking is available

The city is good. You can get buses from here to near by states himachal pradesh- Chandigar - Haryana- Delhi and Uttrakhand- J&k and every corner of Punjab.

Public toilet is available. Use only if you are in emergency.( Hygiene Issue).

Seating plan is not good.
You have to wait & Stay in starting position.

Have a nice journey 😊

It's good.. But only for quick bus pickup and leave.. Otherwise it's not a place to sit and wait.. Due to uncleanness.. No proper housekeeping.. Otherwise one can get bus to all major cities in India or atleast the connecting buses... AC VOLVE service also there but very limited.. Hope govt will improve it conditions. 👍🏻

There are several points to be considered when it comes to "Public Places".

Area: Space and area is quite small for the purpose of smooth functioning of services especially for such a bus stand which offers transportation services for more than 5 different routes. The stand is unable to provide smooth passages and to accommodate the number of passengers visiting per day. There is no proper light at night.

Location: Since its situated at the centre of the city, it make the location too busy and crowded for those commuters who doesn't have anything to do with bust stand.

Ambience: Just 15 year old but needs to be renovated with more practically planned. There is no option of quality food inside the stand and the toilets are the worst.

The stand also lacks to provide proper information to the commuters.

Everything regarding the parking and bus service is good but the place is really crowdy all the time and the number of beggars is never ending. That's quite annoying. Sometimes we may be running out of money or lacking Change.....that's an issue. It's hard to ignore the beggars including the transgenders who offer blessings in exchange 😅

Very busy and crowded area, not much development work taken place in the past. Too many shops small vendors near the entrace. Toilets were very dirty when we visit. Not a hassle free experience, not properly arranged. Government buses are hardly in good shape and very few are there which are good to travel specifically PUNBUS.
