Bally Halt

The platform is to clean and there are 2 lines between sealdh to dankuni .The Major railway station to this line are given as -Dumdum junction and Bidhan Nagar Road.

Seems like a forgotten station by the railway authority. Many people travel through this station, but not enough basic amenities. Only one small shed for the whole platform and often people have to parched in sun or wet in rain. No facility for ladies toilet. Immediate improvement is needed.

Ticket counter of this station is situated at the end( towards Dumdum) of platform. This platform does not have sufficient shaded area till now. There is FOOD STALL near that TICKET COUNTER. Availability of train in this route is very low. There is a WOMAN TOILET besides the restroom at 2no. platform and dirty toilet for gents at both ends of the stations.

It's main usp is its proximity to Bally railway station. It offers commuters from Sealdah section an option to migrate to the Howrah section, and vice versa. Bally station is about a 5-7 minutes walk from Bally Halt station. But don't try this option if you have problem using stairs. Lift is not available, though the railway authorities are planning to install one soon.

Bally Halt buss stand is good👍

By the way this is not the 'Bally' station. I made a mistake of thinking 'Bally Halt' is same as 'Bally'. You need to walk quite a long distance (almost 10-15 mins) to reach here from Bally station.

Forgotten station of Eastern railways. This station is a major link Sealdah division and Howrah division but there is little to none passenger amenities. Only a tiny shed at the UP- Platform and done!! The DOWN- Platform don't even have a shed!! Eastern railways need to take action immediately!!

Bridge 🌉 over Bally station is a good conduct between Delhi road and way to Dunlop
