Haldia is the biggest port city in East Medinipur district. Haldia railway station, the terminal station in the Panskura-Haldia branch line is close to the Haldia Port, also called the Haldia Dock Complex, which is India's fourth biggest port and it lies at the confluence of the Hooghly and Haldi rivers.
Railway station is neat and clean and has some beautiful panoramic views of greennary.
Three direct trains running per day to Howrah in both UP-DOWN direction.
All the colleges under ICARE group is close to this station.

The gateway to industrialisation in West Bengal. Perfectly planned city with different industries and a fully operated dock. You can also spend some time by the Haldi River front.
