It is a big station with large crowd most of the time. The station maintains a clean environment with enough shops and 1-2 Small Restaurants for proper meal. They have enough dustbins on each platform and also enough lights that keeps the station looks like an railway station unless like many other railway station that's turn off their lights from the midnight that makes the station more deserted.Sikar railway station is a low crowded railway station and peacefully environment but toilet are in poor condition and smell very bad no clean otherwise when enter platform look like good and water available for all passenger and seems good but outside is a very bad condition Option for passenger to travel delhi, rewari, jhunjhunu, ringus train available.

Sikar comes under the developed cities of Rajasthan as compared to other cities specially if i talk about Alwar.
It not only developed in Education matter, but also in cleanliness, wide roads, late night shops,
Its totally alikes Jaipur, like twin brothers.

It's a broadgauge railway station now. Trains to Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ganganagar, Bikaner and Kota can be reserved and taken from here. It's clean and well maintained station. However no book stall is there now. Only a restaurant and some tea vendors can be found. The walls are artistically painted.

You can also take railway tickets from outside Junction. There is also a canteen arrangement inside the junction. There is a rest house in Junction where you can rest and wait for your train.
