Diva Junction

It is a Junction Railway Station between Mumbra and Kopar that is situated in Maharashtra State, in India. It was opened in 1877.
This is a major junction in the Central Railway of Mumbai. One end of the Asia's one time third largest Parsik tunnel (1.3 km) built during the British Rule (1916) in India ends at Diva. The east part of Diva station is Sabe and west is Diva. It is provides access to north, western railway to DIVA-VASAI and also towards Konkan railway a DIVA- PANVEL-ROHA-towards Konkan railway.
As of now there are 8 platforms in this station.

Diva is densly populated area with one small police station. There is no big hospital here. one small post office which does not do their work properly. Road conditions are pathetic. Water is not supply daily. People purchase drinking water from shops or tankers which is a new business for many. TMT buses can be seen once in a blue moon. No planning from government to develop this area. Railway station is developed recently with 8 platform which is good. There is only one public foot over bridge which connects east to west. For approximately 3lakh commuters daily they have only one toilet. No waiting room for male passengers as it's junction many express and male 🚆 trains have halt here.

Important platform for central railway... clean area

Diva Junction is one of the crowded place of central railway station. Located between kopar and mumbra. If you want to travel vasai without taking long route travelling from dadar then diva is the station from where every day there is there. Diva is the station from where one can travel or catch train for konkan railway. There is one train from Diva to konkan name as Diva-sawantawadi in early morning. During morning peak hours there is lots of people travels towards mumbai. Due to increasing migration of people day by day it is becoming difficult to catch trains.

Diva Junction is connected to Diva station on central line, the busy station, Always crowded. From here you can catch local trains for cst, karjat, kasara, vasai road.
This is open station so cleanliness is not so great.

Nice place, The PF8 of this station is very calm and soothing for me. Really enjoy that place for trains viewing. No loitering, no garbage. Well maintained station. Some times the fans of the stations are kept off due to which some people face sweating issues. So keeping fans on at rush hour or whole time would be better. Also the CCTV cameras also placed at on each platform. So a good security maintained.
