Great place,,, A special treat during mansoon travelling from mumbai to pune by Train.
Dont miss window seat if you are travelling by Train.

Thakurwadi station is not the regular station with trains halting for the passengers. It's a technical stop meant only for the railway staff. You would not find the mention of this station in the railway time table books. Though it's popular among the trekkers who walk the natural route towards the Rajmachi fort and the ancient Buddhist Kondane caves somewhere in the valley between Thakurwadi village and Karjat station. One train halts here for the technical purpose is the Deccan Express towards Pune in the morning time. Don't know about the other trains halting at this place...

This place is beautiful during monsoons. Highly recommended giving a look Enroute Pune or Mumbai.

During monsoon season the climate was awesome here. Need to definetly do train journey here.

Scenic place

Thakurwadi cabin is a checkpoint for the descent towards karjat railway station and up towards lonavla. It is named after the adjacent village. It is also, an important part of trek route to nagnath cabin and nagnath mandir road .
If you want to reach here, there is a road through chochi village which starts near the bridge towards kondivade .
This place at mid of August - September is covered in mist which would be treat to watch out

It is a very small railway cabin station in the Hill area between the famous indian cities mumbai and pune.
This station is near from khandala and lonavala
The climate of this area is so and so much natural and very soothing, very beautiful landscape.
Although it is a small cabin but it is a wonderful place.
