Road side station so no much facilities but in the heart of dense forests add to the beauty of the station, which falls soon after the tunnel with the same name as it's station. Beautiful scenic location.

Midghat is a small and beautiful railway station on the midst of a hilly terrain. This is a section where up and down track come parallel to each other up track is under a tunnel while the down track is open. There is a abandoned track as well that is elevated to about 45 degrees. Its said this was used to test the brakes long ago. Midgnat is also famous for trekking during monsoon - there is a beautiful trekking route from midghat to the nearest budhni railway station.

Budhni, also spelled Budni or Budgani, is a town and a Nagar Palika in Sehore district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated on Bhopal to Hoshangabad road at a distance of 7 km from Hoshangabad in north direction on the banks of Narmada River.
