Bhopal junction and its ac waiting room was very good and there is also a lot of facilities available in it like charging point quick food etc. And a lot of care has been taken on cleanliness too. And the seating arrangement on it is also fine and there is enough space to sit on it. I believe if you sit here then there is no harm in it and it is also affordable.

A well maintained railway station but a congested one. Few more platforms should be added or suburban railway stations should be developed in order to decongest it. Parking is a major problem here & traffic jams are common outside the railway station.

The infrastructure is decent but poorly maintained. Lifts/escalators are not working when you need them the most. The worst part is food. Except bottled water or packed food, you don't get anything half decent. Samosa/poha vendors don't have a competition on the same platform and they know that passengers don't have a choice so they arrogantly provide stale/ poorly cooked/substandard food. There is hardly any quality check. They have obtained their stalls by greasing the hands of official during 'open tendering' process and they know that no one can remove them from there. I almost puked at the first bite of a baked samosa. But then, this is the state of affairs at all railway stations in India. Try to carry your own food as far as possible.

Nice and well maintained station. There is strict security and check the tickets properly. There are different waiting rooms one for ladies and another for gents with attached toilet in respective waiting area. The only disadvantage is that the ac waiting room is not being used which is a drawback during summer season. One has to wait in the general waiting room where its hot and mosquitoes all around. The water machine was also not working which the authority should look into. There are plenty of shops and tea stalls for passengers.

The station was clean when I visited, we had the train on PT 6 just right near the exit so didn't explore the platform much. There is a city bus stop near the station as well.

Clean, and good security measures and strict ticket checking, but the space is not sufficient to handle the traffic, especially when trains are running late, no lift connectivity for platform 1

Bhopal Junction is a well-maintained railway station in Madhya Pradesh. Waiting rooms are available inside the station as well as waiting rooms are available outside the station under roof. ATMs of Punjab Bank and SBI are also available outside the station. There are routes to various cities on either side of the station. Apart from the old station, a new Bhopal railway station is also being built, which is going to be bigger and better looking.
