This is a very good place and greenery is also there from the other places and it is the largest railway yard here and it is also my home town.

Poor facilities at New Katni Junction. Does not have any waiting room for reserved passengers. Do not have any cafeteria or food court. Benchs on station are made of metal which become too cold for in winter and not usable.

New Katni junction has no proper plateform. There is a cabin for loco pilot and guard. Only few passenger trains stop thare it 5 kilometer away from Katni junction
