Itarsi Junction

One of the Busiest railway station in Madhya Pradesh. Before times it was not so hygiene present here but now it’s among one of the cleanest railway station.
I will say never take refreshments here as items are not so fresh here !!

My recent visit to this station was very exciting. I reached this station by bus which I boarded from Narmadapuram Bus stand. Fare was Rs 30. Cleanliness is maintained though renovation is required. It's a most important and busiest junction of Madhya Pradesh.

This station is big and spacious. But Cleanliness is not as expected level. Access to platforms by through over bridge. Hopefully need to maintain for passengers friendly atmosphere like clean water points and ramps. Good and keep improve

it is one of the busiest railway station in MP so little bit crowded and food quality is compromised as well . avoid "anda biryani" " matara pulao " on Etarasi station and thank me later .

It is one of the crauded railway station in India, it will get trains to go to all the places in South East, West and North, most of the trains pass through this, junction, cleanliness is not good. There are many construction work is progress here, there are many hotels outside the station to eat many types of food .This station is big and spacious. Access to platforms by through over bridge. Hopefully need to maintain for passengers friendly atmospheres and maintain neat and clean railway junction properly.

It is one of the busiest railway station in India, it will get trains to go to all the places in South East, West and North, most of the trains pass through this, but there is a good arrangement of food, the solution of cleanliness is a bit bad. Right now construction work is also going on here, there are many hotels outside the station to eat where food is available properly.

Appreciate Indian Railways keeping the station clean and waste bins at convenient points. Also observed separate neat and clean waiting area for ladies in platform no 1. Now it is responsibility of every traveller also to maintain cleanliness in the station area.Very nice place. Here you will get every facility. Retiring room is also good and clean. Waiting room is somehow very much clean. Almost all train stops are here. Lodge will also be available to stay out from station and to eat there are hotels . Bus runs every minute and Auto is always available

Itarsi Junction railway station (station code: ET) is a junction railway station in Hoshangabad District in Madhya Pradesh  from which more than 385+ trains pass every day. It is the 8th busiest railway junction in India. It falls under the WCR of Indian Railway network. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) away from Hoshangabad by train, and by road it is 20 kilometers. Trains from Central Railway undergo engine changes here i.e. electric engines of WAP/WAM/WAG class are changed to diesel engines of WDP/WDM/WDG class and vice versa. These changes happen for trains which pass through Jabalpur–Katni–Satna railway line and sometimes for trains which pass through Bhopal.In 2015 the signal control system was gutted in a fire incident resulting in hundreds of trains being cancelled for over 30 days till normality was restored(as per wikipedia)
