Khudiram Bose Pusa

Khudiram Bose Pusa is a remote starion located on the Gorakhpur - Barauni main line. Neat & claean small station with some small restaurants near by. Most of the super fast train not stopping here. This place is a historical and related to Indian revolutionary Khudiram Bose and Pusa Agricluture Universiry is near by also. Karpurigram is only 7 km from this station. Covered area for passengers and parking space is also available.

This station is located in Samastipur district, Bihar. 13 km from Samastipur Junction, this station is in East Central zone (ECR) and comes under Sonpur division. The station was named after the young revolutionary Kshudiram Bose who was caught by two armed constables. Kshudiram, along with Prafulla Chaki, attempted to assassinate a British judge, Magistrate Kingsford, by throwing bombs in the carriage they suspected the man was in. The bomb hit its target successfully and the carriage blew up. However, the carriage was occupied not by Kingsford but instead by the wife and daughter of barrister Pringle Kennedy, a leading pleader of Muzaffarpur Bar. He reached the station after covering 25 km distance walking barefoot after bombing the carriage of Kingsford. Prafulla committed suicide before the arrest. Kshudiram was arrested and trialed for the murder of the two women, ultimately being sentenced to death. He was hanged until death in Muzaffarpur Jail on 11-08-1908. At the time of his hanging, Kshudiram was 18 years, 7 months, and 11 days old, making him one of the youngest revolutionaries in India.

station is not very good. it's just ok. It is good that so many trains stoppage here. station is clean but facility is not available like no charging point no drinking water no railway canteen no rest room etc. But in the market all food and drinking things are available.

Pusa Station is very popular station named after martyr Khudi ram Bose. It is a intermediate station between Samastipur and Muzaffarpur Junction. Many agricultural farms are here and Pusa agriculture college is also nearby. You will not find any residential hotel near by. You can easily acess though Road ways and National Highway is nearby.

To be honest, if you travel during the day, this would look like a fine place. But at night, this place gives a different kind of vibe, a bad one. It didn't feel like a safe place at all. There was nothing to eat outside or anywhere inside the station. There was a waiting room where the rpf guy (who seemed to be drinking on duty) won't let anyone go. There were too few lights on the platforms. Travel during the day, if you have to board from this station, for night, go to some better one.

Clean and pure environment. General Market and I especially love this place.
At a distance of 12.4 kilometers from here is the Pusa Agricultural University, which is a very pleasant and very clean environment place.
