Mandar hill is a small mountain which has Hindu and Jain temple at the top. The mountain here was used for samudra manthan. Do visit with your friends for picnic on 1st January. The view from the top of mountain is awesome. Also, boat is available here for recreational purpose. But now-a-days, with more number of public bathing and washing clothes has made water green and dirty.

This is Mandar Hil railway station which is situated in Bounsi(Banka). This is small station but it is oldest one. You can get here train of Howrah, Bhagalpur, Delhi, Dumka, Godda, Hansdiha, etc. Here is reservation counter also where you can book your reserved ticket for long distance. After coming Mandar Hill station you can visit Mandar Hill which about 5 Km from Mandar Hill railway station. You can visit Jain Mandir which is about 300 meter from Railway Station. You can visit The Famous Madusudan Mandir approx 500 meter from Mandar Hill Railway Station. Overall railway station is good and easy to take train bcoz Railway Station is near to the main road.

Mandar Hill Railway Junction is close to Madhusudan Temple, so you can easily reach Madhusudan temple from the train and the station is also cleaned.

Almost all the trains stop here and now you can get wifi access here for free that is a good thing for the person who are waiting for trains
