Deolo View Point

One of the most beautiful place of Kalimpong. The serenity of this place with Kanchenjunga view is just breathtaking. The delo park is really very beautiful with lots of Himalayan plant species. Picturesque landscape. Parking space available outside. Entry fee 10rs. Paragliding available. Just visit this place, totally worth of your time. Government lodge available.

Beautiful place. Well organized park. One can enjoy the whole day with friends and family. The paragliding part was most memorable one for me here!

We got very good view from Delo View point. Pine trees were so beautiful. We liked the place. There was horse riding also. You have to go down to see the pine trees.

Beautiful place ,beautiful environment, lots of flowers, horses etc are there but in rainy seasons Parasailing can he closed. But it was foggy like walking inside clouds. All n all fun place to be.

Nice place to visit and have a good time with family or friends. You can have good food here and the place has accommodation facility also to spend leisure time here in the middle of a short trip to kalimpong. You can also enjoy the picturesque mountain view of nature and also have the feeling of being at the top of it.

When you want a clear view of Mt. Kanchenjunga this is the place to be. Although we have visited in one of the clearest weathers in recent times, still it is said that you can see a glimpse of the white beauty from here. The view point can be reached from Delo Park which is immaculately maintained and picturesque. Carry a light warmer garment even during summer as the view point is always breezy. The sunrise is a spectacular affair from here. Although for viewing sunrise I suppose you have to stay at the palatial Delo Bungalow which is a bit costly, as the park ticket counter may not open till late in the day. Be it sunrise or a glimpse of the white queen, don't miss this place if you are nearby.

What I didn't like was that the gatekeepers were counting people, taking money but not providing any tickets. Sad if the ticketing system was scam.

Amazing experience at Delo! Very beautiful park and hotel and view point. On a clear day, the view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from Delo is just breath-taking! Totally recommend a visit here with family and friends!

PS take adequate warm clothes during winter as this place is on a mountain top and is colder than Kalimpong
