Situated at 12 Kms from the Jhargram town, the sacred temple is an amazing place to visit...inside the jungle, the kanak Durga temple exists..The temple is located beside the River Dulong in the forest, in close proximity to the forests of Lalgarh and Jangal Mahal.  Chilkigarh, where the temple is located, is within the mahakuma of Jhargram.

This place situated in Jamboni P.S., about 12 km away from Jhargram town. Tourist can go there by private car or bus or byke.
It's a totally different from outside village and town. Because you get a natural touch from this place.
You can see a deep forest by very old tree,& it's really a rare collection. You can drive boat ⛵ between this deep forest & can see a tample about 600 years old. You can hand shake with lot of monkey. Finally you can refresh by water from small Dulung rever.
At last I can say, it's a very natural place, that's why this place is very calm & quite.

A place of sacred grove is protected by the Block & District Administration of Jhargram and Template Authority Committee. This place contains of rare plants and maintained well by the authorities. Characteristics of the grove is Rainy Forest. Tourism already developing in this area. People visit this place for pujas and the sacred grove. An inland branch river of Subarnarekha is surrounding this place.
Sources said, soon this place is going to be declared as Biodiversity Heritage Site (BHS).
A wonderful place to be around with friends, families and children. This place No Plastic Zone. Toilets, Parking lots and canteens are available here. This place is under surveillance of Civic Volunteers and CCTV. There is a bit, a little bit, communication problem here.

Beautiful places and beautiful gardens.this is most important thing is konok durga temple. And small children park here. And paddle boating facilities.. For river side. All area nit and clean. Parking place also looking good. All time security guard are check out and check in main gate. And most important is traveling facilities for senior citizens.
