Yamunotri hot spring

Surya Kund is a hot water spring situated at near Yamunotri temple. This thermal spring gets its name from Yamuna river which is considered to be the offspring of Surya or the God as per Hindu mythology. Surya Kund serves as a holy place as it is located in the vicinity of Yamunotri shrine, amazing experience

Wonderful experience, I was just unable to touch the river Yamuna there it was that cold but just next to it the natural hot spring is a wonder.

Visited this Dham on 25th of May 2022.

Water is good for bathing. Not too hot nor too cold. Sulphur water, good for skin.
