Get yourself blessed and get peace of mind. All the Pandit ji are truly dedicated to their service, no way of making fool of devotees by asking for money. We went on a weekend and there was more rush than usual and we had to park our car near round about. Make sure you are visiting on weekdays to avoid waiting.

Week day morning visit at about 10 am was in peace, only about 5 to 10 more families in the vicinity. Suggestion for the same is as follows 1. Visit as early as possible during the day as the day progresses, the place gets more and more visitors.

Mukteshwar Dham Temple is located few kms from Almora. Temple is located on the top of Mukteshwar hill. This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. It gives best for Almora town. These is also sunset point next to the temple where you can best clicks for your insta profile. Best time to visit this temple is sept or Oct but if want to witness snowfalls you can visit in Dec to Feb.
There are couple of shops and hotels as well if you are planning to stay over top or you can opt to stay in Almora town as well.

Really nice place. We took a guide who charged minimal amount and took us via trekking and showed 3-4 nearby places (including its history, stories and other info) and clicked our pics too at the best locations. The temple is small and really liked it. Not very commercialised temple (where you are asked to donate/ offer specific amount of money). Overall, nice experience

Situated at the top of the mountain, this temple is a must visit for all Mahadev devotees and nature lovers.
It takes roughly 3 hours from Nainital to reach here by car. Their is good enough parking place here. The temple has a great view for all nature lovers.
You can come here and meditate if you want to get the feel of this place in its true sense.

A short trek to reach the top of the hill and wow you get a gigantic view of the Himalayas. A wind touching your face would make you forget all the ruckus of life and it soothes the nerve. A few activity is setup as well such as zip line etc.

Divine Lord shiva place...very peaceful, calm, neat and clean.. Must visit when you come to Almora... Just 30 steps after leaving your vehicle.... Can see whole Almora from here.. Very nice awesome view... Must have Malta juice here....
