While this road itself along the Gomti is possibly the best leisure drive right now in Lucknow.
But it is also a potential accident road and traffic jam, due to negligence of Lucknow police.
There are many dangers and drawbacks to this road:
1. The entry point on the Shaheed Path Side is not well managed, as cars are coming from wrong side: especially from Shaheed Path, people are taking U-Turn, and from GN Extension, cars are coming from the wrong side on the ramp, even cars are going towards Police HQ on the wrong side. Total disaster from traffic point of view. And no chalaan or penalty. Police itself is breaking the rules.
2. The other end of this road, Dilkusha Bridge, has very poor visibility on the tri-section, especially at night, suddenly vehicles will appear from other side, and everyone is on high speed. There needs to be some sort of mirrors and lights installed for better visibility.
3. Vehicle owners are racing on this road, especially at night. Police should install speed guns and cameras. strict penalty for rash driving and/or drunk driving.
4. In the long run, From a planning point of view, this road deserves a flyover on the Shaheed path side. Traffic going into Ekana Stadium-Arjunganj (Police HQ), if diverted, will make this crossing a lot better.

Recently (20 nov 2021) hon’ble prime minister narendra modi visited the police headquarters (signature building) and from there he had to go chief minister resident, and this was the shortest path between both places with very less traffic load. So the concerned authorities redeveloped this path for smooth movement of the PM's convoy. Intially the road lights were not available for complete path, there were lot of pits as well and but now the whole path is well maintained, clean and smooth.
