British General Charles Cornwallis, served as both Commander-in-Chief of British India and Governor of the Presidency of Fort William, also known as the Bengal Presidency. He died in Ghazipur in 1805, soon after his returning to India for his second appointment as Governor-General.
In his honour this tomb was made in Ghazipur. It's made with doomed roof with cenotaph on 12 columns on high base. Surrounded by small park and runs through a pathway from the entrance. No maintenance, no caring, not very clean, full of leftover scraps and least management of the place.

A well maintained garden with the huge 12-pillar structure in the middle which holds the remains of lord Cornwallis. It seemed as if people treat it more like a picnic spot and come to enjoy the thick shade of the garden instead of looking at it from a historical point of view

It was really nice, the architecture of British can be seen there.
And surrounding areas also looks too good to spend time.
