Gaandhaari Khilla

This is a historical place and a great picnic spot for a day outing with a few families.... be sure to carry all eatables and water as nothing is available here....

Gaandhaari Khilla is historical place from Mancherial 11.2km, Bokkalagutta, Telangana.It is good place visit family and friends.The fort was built in the 12th century by the Gondu tribals with the help of the Kakatiya Kings of Warangal.The fort was built in the 12th century,Gandhari Maisamma temple is located at the fort. Fort covered by forest there will be some monkeys.

Good place to chill out with friends along with a small trek. I can suggest to visit in the mornings regardless the season. Open space parking available. Space available for desi style cooking under the trees.

Difficult to find route showing on google maps🙁 not that much good to go, but if u want go be careful because u can find snakes🐍 we surrounded with 6 snakes we escaped from there 🥵

Gandhari khila is located very near to Mancherial city in Telangana. This place is very beautiful in the winter. Everyone have to trek a Mountain while watching other rocks surrounded by it, for a km. There, on the hill a very old Nageshwara temple is built. The other sculptures of the rocks around this temple is noted. These are ancient and dated back to hundreds of years back.

Place is covered with forest .we went for trekking there and the place is beautiful with huge rock formations and youll find some ancient structures . recommended place for trekkers and even for picnic with family .
