We travelled nearly 1 hr to reach this place from our college

It was my first visit to a reservoir and I was amazed by looking at it...This place was so large that I almost fealt like a sea or an ocean because the opposite shore was not visible just like the beaches.

When I visited the reservoir it was not full of water so we went down to near water through the stones...The view from the bottom was amazing.We took some pics and set back to the walls of the reservoir.Overall it was a good trip for us all...

Had a good time with my friends on New Year's Eve

A clear blue sky, filled with white fluffy cumulus clouds whose reflection can be seen on the water in the reservoir. This place is located around 50 km from Hyderabad. The sight of the blue sky and the blue water merging into the concrete bund far away is sure to leave you impressed. What a enormous unit of water storage, I was shocked when I first saw it.
It generally closes at 5pm in evening.

Beautiful place. Although there is nothing special about this place but it still feels great. May be due to great scenery, may be due to fresh breeze or the drive itself. This place is difficult to find and road leading to it is not that great but still worth trying. Would definitely recommend.

It is just the water...no boating, no water sports, no restaurants, nothing..you can visit if you like to see water and beautiful landscape from the top of Dam...it will be good if you visit without any expectations.

This reservoir is part of Kaleswaram Project with a capacity of 15 TMC. Located at a distance of about 50 Kms from Hyderabad, which offers breathtaking views and is a perfect location for weekend getaway. Journey to the reservoir through lush green fields and scenic beauty makes the visit blissful and memorable.

A beautiful reservoir. A family picnic can be planned here. There are lot of farmhouses. One can have a good time here.

It is better to go early in the morning and and get back by early evening.

This is because the location is a bit remote and there is lack of lighting and other facilities.

This place can be developed as a tourist spot.

Konda Pocha ma Sagar is a extremely beautiful lake. Pathway around the bank of the sagar is extremely beautiful. Sometimes the ways are highly crowd by visitor vehicle. It is 15-20 Km from Medchal and 50-60 KM Hyderabad. Water is very clean and enjoiyable to see. In cloudy weather, merging of water and cloud gives a great look.

Visited twice and my honest review.
90 mins drive from Hi Tech city side. Reached there for sunset. Beautiful place. Seriously a full man made reservoir that extends for many kilometers. Visit on a Sunday evening around 5, have less crowds.
We can enjoy the nature. Sunset on top of water will be heaven.

Big let down is lack of refreshment there. No stalls or eatery available there. Couple of ice cream mobile shops and the place is full of litters. Police guards are available at the main entrance post which you are on your own.

Overall a great experience. Will visit again.
